Inclusion 303: Learning About Different Disabilities

Knowledge is power. Sometimes, including children with disabilities is
challenging because we are not familiar with the possible characteristics
and attributes of the child's specific disability. This session will give an
overview of a range of disabilities and special needs, including physical
disabilities, developmental disabilities and disabilities that affect
communication and social interaction, while also stressing that each child
is unique, regardless of disability.
