Summary
Across the teaching, learning, and child development field-the term ‘transition’ can hold a variety of meanings. Many children and adults struggle with making transitions (the act of moving from one activity to another), as well as with functioning through transitions (changes in home and/or personal life). During this training, participants will learn strategies that help support them through transitions in the classroom, strategies that support children navigating transitions at home, and learn inclusive strategies that support children with disabilities who need additional support in the area.
