Summary

Children must feel safe for optimal learning to occur. We will discuss how Conscious Discipline skills of composure and assertiveness work together to build a sense of safety in our classrooms. We will also be giving strategies that can be used in creating safety in the classroom.

I know how to use adult composure to promote composure within children.
I can identify the three voices of communication and determine which voice is most likely to achieve their communication goals.
