Summary

IN PERSON: This session will provide participants with an overview of how mindfulness and yoga practices can be implemented in the early childhood classroom. We will explore how mindfulness impacts children's and adults' physical and mental health as well as how we can implement these simple practices to improve the classroom environment. Participants will walk away with a plan of how to incorporate these practices into their daily routines.

Objectives:

Participants will understand how mindfulness and yoga practices can improve children's social-emotional health. Participants will utilize mindfulness and yoga practices when planning their daily schedule. Participants will create an action plan to teach children mindfulness and yoga practices.
