Summary
**THIS IS AN ONLINE TRAINING VIA ZOOM** In this session participants will explore ways to work with families of children with special needs and the other professionals who work with them. We will work to understand and embrace the valuable role early childhood educators play as a member of a child's "team," and learn some strategies for including children with different disabilities in our programs.

Objectives:
Participants will understand some typical feelings and reactions of families who have children with special needs and positive ways to respond. Participants will know ways to respect a child's and family's confidentiality. Participants will understand their role on the "team" supporting a child with special needs. Participants will know how to make accommodations for children with special needs in the classroom.
