This training will look at the form and function of challenging behavior, how to gather information necessary to make a good quality intervention plan, and discuss strategies needed to create and implement an Intensive Individualized Intervention Plan.

Description: Many children struggle with the demands and expectations of group care. Teachers often are left overwhelmed with what to do and how to improve the situation. This training will look at the form and function of challenging behavior, how to gather information necessary to make a good quality intervention plan, and discuss strategies needed to create and implement an Intensive Individualized Intervention Plan. 

Outcomes: Participants will be able to know how to determine the form and function of challenging behaviors, how to collect relevant data and information to create an individualize intervention plan, and will be able to identify strategies that can be used to implement an effective plan.
