Storytelling is one of the oldest teaching methods. Join us to learn simple tips that will build your skills at telling stories in order teach pre-academic/academic skills. You will learn how to use stories to correct children's behavior without conflict or tantrums

Objectives: By the end of this training session, participants will be able to connect with children through storytelling, teach social skills through storytelling, and explore ideas for sensory storytelling.
Core Competencies:
4c: Use a broad repertoire of developmentally appropriate, culturally and linguistically relevant, anti-bias, evidence-based teaching skills and strategies that reflect the principles of universal design for learning. (1.5 Hours)
5a: Understand content knowledge— the central concepts, methods and tools of inquiry, and structure—and resources for the academic disciplines in an early childhood curriculum. (0.5 Hours)
