Objectives: • Participants will be able to define Developmentally Appropriate
Practice (DAP) as it relates to infants and toddlers.
• Participants will examine and discuss practices for DAP in
infant/toddler settings.
• Participants will plan for use of DAP in their own classroom as well as
share the information with families.
Core Competencies: 1a: Understand the developmental period of early childhood from birth through age 8 across physical, cognitive, social and emotional, and linguistic domains, including bilingual/multilingual development. (2 Hours)
