*IN-PERSON PUBLIC TRAINING*
Objectives:
The presentation will encourage participants to think about the why, when, where and how associated with making observations of children as well as documenting what has been observed. We will discuss how it can be helpful for planning, implementation, building relationships, recognizing, and supporting emerging skills, etc. Different types of observation, documentation and assessment tools will be shared.
Core Competencies: 3a: Understand that assessments (formal and informal, formative and summative) are conducted to make informed choices about instruction and for planning in early learning settings. (1 Hour)
