Summary

The number of dual language learners has increased dramatically in Missouri in the last 20 years. One out of every ten children in Missouri are dual language learners. This training will cover strategies for overcoming language barriers, how to assist preschoolers who are learning more than one language, stages of dual language development, and strategies to support children's dual language development in the preschool classroom.
