Summary
Wondering how to decipher the “alphabet soup” of special education for children from birth to the early elementary years? This session will introduce you to the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act or IDEA, Part C, and the IFSP (Individual Family Support Plan), as well as Part B and the IEP (Individual Education Plan). You will learn how to work with other professionals – such as speech, language, physical and occupational therapists –to support children in child care and early learning programs.
