Summary
**Private In Person Training** As a result of the pandemic and lack of affordable child care, more children have spent more time at home. This has caused a reduced number of social opportunities for children to spend time with their peers in small groups or child care settings. Participants of this session will increase their knowledge of the functions of behavior and how to complete intentional data collection. We will discuss the importance of efficient and reliable observations and how these observations can help determine behavior antecedents, which drive the consequences. Through case studies, participants will discuss the challenging behavior, antecedents, and efficient strategies for supporting young children and their families. We will share resources and strategies for implementing positive reinforcers, developing structure environments, and guiding replacement behaviors
