- Define family engagement
- Recognize that a child's well-being is linked to the well-being of the family
- Explain the role of preschool teachers in the development of strong family relationships
- Learn ways to foster engagement and strengthen relationships with families
- Create steps to implement and enhance family engagement at your center
Core Competencies: 2b: Collaborate as partners with families in young children's development and learning through respectful, reciprocal relationships and engagement. (2 Hours)
