Supporting Children and Families During Challenging Times

There are many challenges and circumstances that preschool children and their families may encounter that can make children vulnerable or put them at risk. This training will outline challenges many families are facing, and what that may translate to or look like in your classroom. We will discuss ways you can support preschoolers and their families by creating an environment that is welcoming and inclusive where all families feel valued, respected, cared for, and safe. We will talk about strategies to help increase protective factors and mitigate challenging situations.
