Presented By: Sarah Grissom Description In this course, early childhood educators will learn strategies for supporting children’s behavior in the classroom. We will explore the difference between punishment and skill building. Participants will learn how to promote skill building in their classrooms through their interactions with children. This course applies to infants, toddlers, preschoolers, and school-age children. Content Areas4b: Understand and use teaching skills that are responsive to the learning trajectories of young children and to the needs of each child, recognizing that differentiating instruction, incorporating play as a core teaching practice, and supporting the development of executive function skills are critical for young children.
