Appropriate Teacher Child Interactions

This session is crucial to informing staff of the appropriate parameters regarding staff-child interactions including listening and talking with children, the difference between pleasant and unpleasant interactions, examples of encouraging and discouraging communication, meaningful conversations, teacher use of language in the classroom, warm, harsh, and impersonal interaction, and general supervision of children during play and learning.
